MUSIC RECOGNITION FEATURES

Musician Recognition Features will honor musicians and groups who have notable connections to this region and made significant impact on the music industry.  They honor these musicians in a respectful and meaningful way.

Only features funded by donations will be installed on the block.

The Musician Recognition Features, illustrated below, will include an image and a narrative to communicate the essence of the musician or group contribution to music and their connection to this region. Donors will be recognized prominently on the visible edge of the features, as shown below.

Recognition features will be placed along the Musicians Walk, at locations illustrated in the image below.  They will be constructed of commercial grade materials designed to last for decades. Each feature will be lit.

To date, nine musicians or musical groups have been nominated:

Are you ready to jump in and help bring this feature into reality for the City of Stillwater? The community is ready but we need an impressive and generous sponsorship to make it happen.  Read on about how you will be forever recognized for the huge heart you have for this community.
