Sophisticated, international affairs correspondent Tess Harding is at odds with sportswriter Sam Craig. The conflict leads to love and marriage. Serious issues arise when it seems Tess values her job over her marriage. With an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and directed by George Stevens, the movie stars Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy with Faye Bainter and William Bendix.
